Flender GmbH develops mechanical drive technology for industrial plants and wind power. Its portfolio includes industrial gear units, different coupling designs and turbo gear units; Winergy adds gearboxes and generators for wind turbines. FLENDER ONE combines application-specific gearbox engineering with digital configuration and integrated AIQ Core sensors for condition monitoring. Depending on their design, couplings compensate shaft misalignment, damp vibrations, transmit torque precisely or provide overload protection. Typical applications include conveyors, mixers, aerators and demanding industrial drive trains. Selection depends on load profiles, torque, mounting position, interfaces and coordination between the motor, gearbox and driven machine. Available sensors and the actual analysis functions require assessment for each product series. Flender supplies components and drive-related expertise; integration into the complete machine and operating responsibility must be agreed for the individual project.
